1975 (Mar 2) – Linda McCartney Arrested on Pot Charge
03/02/2026 @ All Day – A policeman who stopped a Lincoln Continental for running a red light in Los Angeles was surprised to find Paul McCartney at the wheel with his wife Linda. The cop detected a smell of marijuana and on searching the car found eight ounces of the drug. Linda was arrested for the offense.

03/03/2026 @ All Day – Beatles engineer Norman Smith died at the age of 85. Smith worked on every studio recording the band made between 1962 and 1965 was nicknamed ‘Hurricane’.
1990 (Mar 3) – Paul Begins Sold Out Japan Tour
03/03/2026 @ All Day – During a world tour Paul McCartney played the first of 6 sold-out nights at the Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan. The final night was broadcast live to venues in 10 other Japanese cities; Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Kumamoto, Matsuyama, Nagoya, Niigata, Osaka, Sapporp, Sendai and Takamatsu.
