1984 (Apr 26) – ‘The Beatles’ Statue Unveiled in Liverpool

Mike McCartney unveiled the £40,000 statue of The Beatles by John Doubleday at the new £8 million Cavern Walks shopping center in Liverpool, England. John’s first wife, Cynthia, was also in attendance.
