1963 (Apr 18) – Beatles Perform at the ‘Swinging Sounds of 63’ Show

The Beatles appear at the Royal Albert Hall in the ‘Swinging Sounds of ’63’ show. Del Shannon heard them play ‘From Me To You’. He later recorded it and it became the first Lennon/McCartney song to chart in the United States.
